Hi, I'm Kavin.
I'm a second-year Honours Mathematics student at the University of Waterloo and the founder of Built.km, where I design and ship websites and digital products for real clients.
Story
01Waterloo, 2025
I started at Waterloo in September 2025 in the Honours Mathematics program. Since September 2023 I've served on the Unified Leadership Council of Special Olympics Ontario, representing youth athletes across the province, and I closed one Youth Summit with a speech to more than 200 people.
02Built.km, 2026
In February 2026 I founded Built.km, a small studio where I take client problems from the first conversation through design, full-stack development, deployment and support. The work so far includes an artist site for KsBvndz, a storefront for Evolve Performance, a booking and operations platform for Piece of Cake Junk Removal, and a 3D campus event map for the Alma Mater Society of Queen's University, where I worked as a full stack engineer in summer 2026.
03The hard ones
The projects I'm proudest of are the ones with a hard technical core: AeroElite, a browser-based 3D steering-wheel configurator built on React Three Fiber with custom shader materials; Court Finder, a map of 726 basketball courts across Toronto with a native SwiftUI port; and Nestly, an AI home search that turns a sentence into structured filters against live listings.
04Honest software
I care about honest software. Several of my projects have an explicit "no fake data" rule, and this site follows the same principle: Kavin AI takes facts about my work only from things I've approved, and it says so when it doesn't know.
